This kitchen started with removing the dining room walls and installing a hidden powerlam beam held up by the two columns that we incorporated into the ends of the island. We transferred the weight down to the basement with columns and new pier footings. It received new ceramic tile throughout. The cabinets were Conestoga and had a lot of flexibility which was needed for this high design kitchen. It also used granite tops, under cabinet lighting, new lighting, and custom tile backsplashes.
